The Family Day Care Home Food Program
The Office of Nutrition Asssistance is a sponsor for the Family Day Care Home Food Program (FDCHFP). The FDCHFP is a USDA government program for people who are providing childcare in their home. The program provides cash benefits each month to providers as reimbursement for feeding nutritious meals and snacks to the children in their care.
This office can offer assistance to home childcare providers in the following Louisiana parishes: Tangipahoa, Livingston, St. Helena, Orleans, Jefferson, Placquemines, St. Tammany and East Baton Rouge.
